
These circles resurfaced this morning while I was tidying my sewing room. I made this at least 3 years ago. I love this green - the circles are so quiet - it's all so simple. Tattered little tracing paper scribble stitched on. Just so interesting that I am drawn to this more than some of the things I have made more recently. More of the same thing that is always challenging to me - I like the sketch more than the finished piece, the drips more than the painting, the smears more than the lines...

ReplyDeletethe pale green faded circles were sun printed on white cotton with sun sensitive green fabric paint. I really like this technique - especially using plants and leaves.
