Looking Forward

I am very much looking forward to being a part of Jude's Spirit Cloth Workshop next week. We will be talking about creating personal story cloth. It has me doodling on fabric and thinking about telling a story. I am also just so excited to be in a learning opportunity like this - to be in a continuing education situation again - in conversation with people excited about similar things - in creating.

  2. susan, your drawings are so
very very good and will become
    such beautiful cloths...i am
excited for you...it is a perfect
experience for a young mom. You,
i am almost totally positive, will
find the atmosphere of the group of women both energizing and
challenging. am so happy for you,
for me, for all of us.
i am also hoping to find a way to
    incorporate drawings into the cloth.
would be the ultimate for me. so
    we can encourage each other/learn
    from each other.
    happiness,
    g

  4. Kaye and Grace - thank you so much for your kind comments!

Grace - I am SO excited too. It has been so fun to watch all of the projects from the cloth to cloth class pop up on everyone's blogs and get a sense of how many people are connected by this.

Your projects have inspired me to make a curtain for my home - I will show it at some point. I love the way you live with your creations.

As for my doodling - the fabric is usually just cotton. I recently tried Jude's suggestion of the Pit Pens - could only find black brush pen locally - loved it and just ordered more colors tonight.

I am really looking forward to learning more about you and the group. Thanks for all of your thoughtful comments.
