The golden rod leaves and fuzzy white seeds. Dark brown damp leaves with the white lines of frost. Missing our sweet old golden girl this time of year because she loved a chilly sunny day. The afternoon light in November is golden.
When I look at your piece it makes me realize that even though the brilliantly-colored leaves are gone, there are still many beautiful, if more subtle, colors to take in. I love the color combinations in this piece and the shadows in the afternoon sun.--Julie
There are really wonderful shadows and golden light in the mornings too, but I can't seem to capture it in a photo. The light seems to show its' warmth when it is chilly out.
These November colors always make me think of my mother who's birthday was yesterday. Good photo. -sus
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother's birthday was this time of year too and I thought of her.
