The snow star seems to have worked out and we have been enjoying a holiday winter wonderland. The boys have gone to bed each night exhausted from playing in the snow. There have been several snowfalls - one came on a night with no wind and covered everything - every single branch.
I have enjoyed many quiet walks in the woods to have a closer look at the papery beech leaves - still hanging on. One found its' way onto the quilt.
Preparing to pack up the holiday, but I really hope the snow stays around for awhile.
Peace and happiness to you and yours in the new year!
I like how you combine the patches and the stiching.
ReplyDeleteO the snow, would like to have some here.
Hi Susan- Happy New Year! I do so love how the snow star came out. And I love your new header with the stitched beech leaves! I look forward to watching your creations take shape in 2013.--Julie
